Personal Statement
Hello,
My name is Grace Erwin, and I am currently a Digital Content Producer at NBC5 Chicago and graduate of George Washington University with a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication.
During my time at NBC5 Chicago, I have garnered experience in news reporting, feature writing, SEO, AP Style and more.
My work has been published on NBC National, NBC5 Chicago, Rewire News Group and Planet Forward.
I have always had a passion for storytelling through features, as well as reporting news. Throughout my various internships and class assignments, I have been able to reach vast audiences and provide information about local news and national events.
During my time at NBC5, I reported on local Chicago news as well as the Paris Olympics and the presidential election.
My body of work showcases my ability to interview sources and write digestible, compelling content to inform audiences of the events in their communities and around the country.
